When I’m not drawing—

I’ve been working glass since 2009, beginning as an apprentice in Southeast Michigan, and now as an independent artist in NYC. I make hollow mandrel-wound lampwork beads.

Most beads are incorporated into a large bead curtain, which I’ve created strand-by-strand over the last 10 years. With this project, the sum of the parts is greater than the individual beads. In this way, even beads that are “imperfect” can be implemented in making something beautiful.
